Clay Center Public Utilities has a couple of new residents at the Utility Park Zoo, but they’ll be here temporarily for four months. Last week, Public Utilities announced they are now on display in the new big cat exhibit at Utility Park Zoo.

The two cheetahs, Urkel and Nellie, are on loan until the cheetah cubs that PUC purchased are old enough to be weened, said Public Utilities Commissioner Bill Callaway. They cost $20,000 each.
