In sentencing Adam Straub, 29, Atchison, for felony theft, District Judge John Bosch agreed to not send him to prison, given that he is a first-time offender.

After reviewing three drug possession cases against Christopher Machen, 23, Clay Center, and related motions to revoke probation, District Judge John Bosch accepted a plea from Machen in the Clay County District Court Thursday.

Jury finds woman guilty of meth possession

After a trial on Tuesday, Feb. 2, a jury in the Clay County District Court found Haley Shane Flanagan guilty of possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Department arrested Raymond Royal Lavisse, 36, on Friday, Jan. 29, for disorderly conduct. Lavisse bonded Jan. 30, on a $250 cash or surety bond.
