farm

Later this week, December 2-4, is the Wichita Farm and Ranch Show at the Kansas Star Event Center in Mulvane. This is the 25th year Tradexpos has brought vendors from across the nation to the Wichita area for farmers and ranchers to see the latest in products and services for their agricultural operations.

I have attended it many times through the years, as a farm broadcaster, farm wife and ag journalist. Every time that I’ve been able to attend, I’ve always come away with an extra boost of energy after learning a new innovation in agriculture or visiting with a farmer or friend from the diverse ag circles in Kansas whom I haven’t seen in many years. It’s those conversations with old friends and acquaintances that I have enjoyed the most over the years.
