Clay Center, Kan. -- Delmar Louis Yarrow, 97, passed away February 20, 2021.

He was born December 3, 1923 to Frederick Yarrow and Margaret McClurkin in Clay Center, Kan.

He served in the US Army.  Delmar married Marlee Affolter on October 10, 1948.  Marlee preceded him in death on March 17, 2003. Delmar married Sharon (Wallis) Klassen on November 1, 2008.  He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Gideons International, USD 379 School Board and the Clay Center American Legion.  

He was also preceded in death by his parents and a great-grandson.

Survivors: wife, Sharon Yarrow of Clay Center, Kan.; daughter, Lennis Harrison of St. Louis, Mo.; son, Lee and wife Karen Yarrow of Morganville, Kan.; step-daughters, Phyllis and husband Eldon Koerber of Aurora, Kan. and Tonia Hedman-Edwards of Clay Center, Kan.; sister, Ruth Todd of Manhattan, Kan.; five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, five step-grandchildren and three step- great-grandchildren

Funeral services will be held February 23, 2021 at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Clay Center, Kan. with Rev. Matthew Coleman officiating.

Burial will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kansas.

Visitation will be held February 22, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home.
