CLAY CENTER, Kan. -- Gary Lee Habluetzel, 78, passed away on January 18, 2021.
Gary was born on February 10, 1942 to Robert and Ruth (reed) Habluetzel in Clay Center, Kansas.
Gary graduated in 1960 from Morganville High School.
Gary married Janet Allen on July 20, 1962. He was a member of the Clay Center Methodist Church, the Clay Center Elks Lodge for 38 years, where he was Exalted Ruler for 4 years and the Sons of the American Legion in Linn.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ron, Doug and Lynn; and sister, Karen Franklin.
Survivors: wife, Janet Habluetzel of Clay Center, Kan.; sons, Randy (Kathy) Habluetzel of Charlotte, N.C. and Scott (Shelly) Habluetzel of Barneston, Neb.; daughter, Laura (Dana) Trumpp of Clay Center, Kan.; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation.
Private family services will take place at the Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kan.
Memorials can be made to Clay Center Elks Lodge or Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home.
