GREENWOOD, MO. - Calvin K Mosburg, of Greenwood, Mo, peacefully passed away on October 13, after a difficult battle with Pulmonary Fibrosis at the age of 90.

Calvin was born on July 17, 1931 to Harold and Violet Mosburg in the city of Broughton, Kan. He is the oldest of five: Bruce, Richard, Bill, and Geary. After Calvin graduated from Clay Center Community High School in 1953, he enlisted in the US Army. After his service, he became an entrepreneur investing in several other companies before starting Mosburg Construction in 1965, which was his true passion.

On January 4, 1953, Calvin married Donis Anderson. They went on to have seven children: Rodney, Vicky, Kelly, Tracy, Meg, Timothy, and Mindy; fifteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Kansas City on October 17 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Service will be held at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church on October 18 at 9:00 a.m. Graveside service and burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Clay Center, Kan.

Memorial contributions may be made to Boy Scouts of America, St. Luke’s United Methodist Church, or John Knox Village Hospice.
