CCCHS teachers are trying out different ways to teach kids, from trying out a “flipped classroom” to taking on hands-on, real world projects, a few of them said in a presentation to Clay Center Lions on Tuesday.

Since last Spring teachers have spent one day a week researching and developing how to redesign the school to better fit kids current needs, CCCHS principal Bud Young said. The process has included testing ideas, tweeking them and getting students’ input on those changes.
