Lady Tigers defend home court, take first

The Lady Tiger tennis team of CCCHS hosted a quad Thursday, Sept. 9, in which the hosts placed first defending their home courts. 

Senior Tegan Stratton took first in number one singles as she went 3-0 on the day. Junior Julia Rieger would go 2-1 in number two singles on her way to a second place finish for the Lady Tigers. 

The number one double pairing of Jaylee Callaway and Sara Smith went undefeated on the day, going 3-0 as they took gold. 

Afton Sterling and Adalyn Pfizenmaier, the number two doubles team, went 2-1 on the day for the Lady Tigers as they took home second place, helping the Lady Tiger tennis team secure first place on the day. 

The second doubles team of Maggie Sleichter and Ella Kramer went 1-1 in exhibition matches.
